vast.......wide
infinite and complete
the sum total of depth

Perhaps that poem will make sense in some years to come. Lol! But seriously it came from deep within and it just summarises my thoughts on my favorite colour - BLUE.

Wikipedia describes BLUE as the colour of the clear sky and the deep sea. It is the colour most associated with Harmony, faithfulness, confidence, distance and infinity.
Here are a few facts about BLUE:

• It is overwhelmingly the most popular choice as most men and women choose this colour as their favorite.
• According to wikipedia, planet Earth is referred to as the Blue Planet
• At certain times in History, Christians or Jews wore blue, because only Muslims, in Moorish Spain, were allowed to wear white and green.
• Blue is the colour most featured in stained glass design os cathedrals and mosques but also in Mosaic art.
• Blue became associated with holiness, humility and virtue in the 12th Century, when in the veneration of the Virgin Mary, her clothes were depicted as a high blue

Fashion-wise, blue is a great colour to use to pull together an outfit, or for more conservative personalities, a great way to add a pop of colour without drawing too much attention to yourself.
